You can connect your WordPress blogs to post articles directly from Article Forge. You can also set up automated article posting using the Post Scheduler.
To add your WordPress blog to Article Forge you will need your WordPress blog URL, Wordpress username, password, and XMLRPC file path. Usually, your XMLRPC file path will be: https://YourBlogName.com/xmlrpc.php
Troubleshooting:
The most common issues are caused by incorrect WordPress credentials, WordPress plugins that block 3rd party apps like Article Forge from posting, or if your host is blocking our IP address.
To quickly troubleshoot you can try the following:
- Make sure your WP credentials are correct in your Article Forge account.
- Deactivate all the WordPress plugins on your blog.
- Make sure your blog host whitelists our IP which is 148.251.46.112.
- If you are having an issue with a custom XMLRPC path - You need to contact your server admin and ask them for the custom XMLRPC path for that blog, and then use that in the import blog section. Click on the checkbox next to "Custom XMLRPC Path (NOTE: Enable it, only if you know what you're doing)" and then enter the path in the enabled box. Keep in mind, even when you enter the custom path, you still need to fill out the URL and credentials boxes as normally.
- If none of the above solves your issue, please reach out to our support team with your WP credentials so our technical team can look into this issue for you.
